A majority of the projects I develop are private residences but my firm also specializes in the design of fire stations and retail environments. In 2009 I received the American Institute of Architects "Young Architect of the Year" award (but it was probably for doing things that would cause others to think twice). Life is good.
Always wondered about the spectacle of architectural eyewear - it seems so blatant, even from my myopic vantage point (no, I didn't stutter). You frame the observation well... and now I can't stop wondering "Do they wear them when nobody is looking?" Jeepers creepers.
